what is the "sturzballett"?
STURZBALLETT in German means the «FALLING BALLET».
We are a theater company as colorful as a mixed salad.
Our bodies and minds are different, but we have a common goal: Since October 2022 we work on our first piece for the big stage.
The STURZBALLETT is an oasis where we try out new things without shame. Here we can clown around like no one is watching, fall flat on our faces or take off to unknown heights. On stage we move our bodies, play live music and tell stories with few words and a lot of humor - somewhere between physical theatre, performance and absurd slapstick.

What makes our bodies, thoughts & emotions tumble?
Our debut production is an artistic exploration of the thresholds that make us fall. From the first playful experiments up to the actual shows, we undertake experiments and mental games that explore these thresholds. Coincidence, accident, idea, experience, knowledge, discovery, luck and misfortune - all of this is to be found in Falling. Our artistic journey results in a stage play that we will perform in April/May at "Südpol Luzern". Events
